Think you can create a buzz?
Without a strong dose of personality and passion, it is a hard road to walk. You need the three Cs (no, not cash, condo and car)….Confidence, Character and Charisma.
Have you ever seen a person (or maybe this describes you) walk into a room and everyone would look at him/her? Yes, that is the buzz effect I am talking about….a term I call “Presence”.
Passion, energy, enthusiasm in what you do is important. People around you will see that resonate from you. If you are in the business industry, THIS will put you two levels above the competition. You are your own brand. Create the sense of passion and enthusiasm in yourself….people will eventually like you, and when people like you, they will listen to you. If they like what they hear, they will respect you.
Voila, you are marketing your business
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COMMUNICATE ABOUT WHAT YOU SELL!
- Selling insurance does not mean you need to start an insurance blog.
- Selling copiers does not mean you need to speak about copiers.
- Being good at technology does not mean you need to write a technology book.
- Financial Planners do not have to do podcast shows about financial planning.
- And real estate agents do not have to spend 100% of their time showing homes.
How you make money may be one dimensional, but you most certainly are not. Let your personality show and do things that you are passionate about. The great relationships you have from your effort will pay off.
So start creating the X-Factor in you. Kills two birds with one stone don’t you think?
